Unbelievable isn't it. This team has flaws, but if you don't want to get that goalie then fix your defense it would go a long way to helping the problem.

However, when you look at the specific scenario, rather than a blanket statement borrowed from the Sabres F'ing up the Eichel tank, there are extreme differences this time that serve to invalidate that argument.

Culture of Losing? Not really, as
- 50% of this current roster will turn over next season. We all know who they are, no need to list them here.
•80% the replacements coming are all youngins, who are enjoying a strong development year now, wouldn't you agree?
•20% of the replacements come from outside the organ, adding to those not impacted by this year
- the other 50% of the roster are mostly young guys playing for a Development Coach who has them focused on Their game; not on the W/L column
the remaining aging Vets who will be here are leading the charge in foing the right things...Girgs, Okposo, even Skinner..injecting positivity into the locker room and on the ice.

This mantra of losing culture going to F them up long term in this scenario is way, way overblow... IMO OF COURSE.

You know who doesn't hate to lose?? Everybody on the Buffalo sabers. That couldn't possibly be a problem going forward though. Professional athletes have no need of competitiveness. At this point I'm already guessing at what the fatal flaw of Owen power is going to be.. Maybe he won't be able to play on the left side of the ice.. Who knows? I've got a current generational defense man who can't play defense, so why not?

That was not rushed. It was well timed and failed for various drug related reasons and the fact tanking is very overrated. Youre not guranteed a great player... as we have seen so many times now.

We tank EVERY YEAR in Buffalo and have not seen a great player in this city since playoff Danny Briere.
