You know what gives you a good chance at a banner ? Get an Elite Center and this time build a team around him so he doesn’t force a trade within 5 years

I’m not sure I’d say it’s a guarantee the Sabres draft a center with their top pick this year. They might see Quinn as a center. Could draft a winger or defenseman instead.

I hope historically bad goaltending costs Adams his job and they actually get the next GM hire right.

The Sabres need a 1RD Goaltender and C, with what's coming on the horizon from Rochester. I hope they fill 1 of those needs at the TDL and then go into the offseason.

Sure, but making the playoffs and being a consistent cup contender in itself are another two different conversations.

Tampa took years to get the cup, but everyone knew it was a matter of when not if with that collection of talent.

There are maybe 7 or 8 teams in a given year, if that many, that actually have a legit shot at a cup.

I would like to be one of those teams.

Drafting early gives me the best odds of landing an elite talent that puts us into that conversation.
