If only there was a way to acquire one, where they had no say.
- ImThatGuy

Just trade for one, other teams do..... 😀😀😀

Seriously, why can't you understand the purpose of this season?

You just don't get it. They are trying to pick early.

Too many bottles and hits to the head apparently ☝️

Seriously, courageous should be saved for speaking about our military, police and first responders.

Risto played a tough game, blocked shots, top 5 in the league in hits....

Ovi , Marchant, those were his match ups.....

- Boss34

MEH, he played when he wanted to, top five in hits OK, never Top 25 in block shots, that tells you something especially playing 25 minutes a night and giving up 40 SOG.

I always thought is was soft, never wanted to drop the gloves, I am glad he is gone, i dont miss him one bit, Hagg is basically the same player...

I was indifferent about Butcher and obviously Boych had a purpose. But you're telling me you're only willing to garbage pick a goalie instead of use a mid round pick for an nhl caliber guy? So now it's tokarski vs subban and they're spiderman meme.

That would require a desire to win this year. They're fine with Tage looking good and the goalies looking bad. Dell was just an untenable situation

No. I split seasons with my uncle and he's had the ticket longer, so he picked that game. You?

Basically.

But hey, it's very possible Subban is at least slightly better than Dell

I wish more people would get this point. they are not trying to win at all, If they wanted an NHL caliber goalie they have plenty enough assets and a shat ton of cap space to make that move. They wont because they don't want to win this year.

Well he was basically free, so we still have assets if a particular goalie does become available.

Are you referring to Hagg? Basically the same player this year. both 1 goal, 3 helpers and risto -7, Hagg-9, Hagg is our hardest hitter. I realy see no difference between the 2 right now.

Buffalo has acquired Malcolm Subban from Chicago in exchange for future considerations.
Subban has been playing for Rockford of the AHL this season. In five appearances, he has posted a s 2-2-1 record with a 3.38 goals-against average and .893 save percentage. Subban has 36-31-8 record in the NHL along with a 3.02 GAA and .899 SV% in 82 career contests.

Yeah Hagg blocks shots, think he already has 48 for the year. Hagg's a place holder

if the sabres wanted to win, they would have spent 5 or 6 mil on a free agent goalie last summer instead of 750k. 750k and 850k

I'm a blind optimist when it comes to the Sabres.

Kagm:
is a hometown guy
Respectable human being and good guy
Respectable Stanley cup winner as a player
Longevity in the nhl

Good start in my book

He also seems to have made some good if not fair trades in my book.

Sam and risto both good trades
Eichel, good enough, not going to win that trade regardless.

I like the coaching hire as well as the front office hires.

I like the direction in Rochester and his handling of the prospects seams spot on.

I like the growth among our young core, playing upbeat hockey, but yet picking early in a strong draft.

Seems like he's addressed the future and past, just needs to focus on the current, next year...

IN 17-18

Subban had a 2.68 .910 in 22 games VGK
Dell had a 2.64 .914 in 29 games for SJS

They are the same goalie.
