You know how I'm pretty amazing at drafting but not perfect? (Just play along).

I really thought Nichuskin was gonna be a star in the NHL.

If you can't put your heart on the line again for this team after this run, I want to give you a hug and encourage you to drink the (frank)ing Kool Aid and get on the hype train brother GO LEAFS (frank)ING GO WOOOOOOO

- Zezel

I was at the game last night.

They were making me feel all warm and squishy inside...

...until that franking goal with .3 seconds left in the first.

FFS, why do the Leafs have to always Leaf it up?

When Kadri made it 3-2, I was about to whip my waffles.

And then the boys in blue, god bless 'em, showed character and heart.

It was a franking magnificent game.

Frank holding back my emotions on this team.

This is how I feel:

I'm sure it has nothing to do with his performance.

But yes.

YESSSSSSSSSSS

What a game to be at!

The time to be cyncial and hold back and not be vulnerable was in the Ballard era. People think the last few years were bad? That wasn't bad.

Why are people afraid of getting their balls crushed again, that's what this is all about. This is the time get manic and let tomorrow fanbase deal with the hangover.

Put down the chickenpoop cynicism Leafs Nation - let's pahty.

Christmas Wrappings by the Waitresses

Christmas with the Devil by Spinal Tap

The entire Charlie Brown Christmas album

Did Die Hard have a soundtrack?

- Atomic Wedgie

I'd say around 15-20 years ago or so my wife made a Christmas CD of MP3 music for a drive to Halifax to spend Christmas with her family. I can't remember how many songs she got on the thing, but it was something like 250 - most songs being lower quality or shorter than average. Anyway, we get going on the road and the CD player in the rented van we're taking doesn't have a shuffle option.

There had to have been at least 50 different versions of 12 Days of Christmas, and since it starts with a '1', they were ALL first. And every time you turned off the van, it would start all over again with the 50 different versions of 12 Days of Christmas.

It was horrifying. And somehow I _still_ don't know what all was given away for the 12 f'n days.

Thoughts on backreading.

l also predicted Willy with 40 and the Conn Smythe. Also a gentle reminder that I have supported Willy from day one even when Leafs Nation would've traded him for a knockoff Roman Polak, and all y'all haters can continue to slurp on it.

I like Silent Night and Merry Christmas I Don't Wanna Fight Tonight by Ramones. But in the age of Spotify there is no need to be exposed to Christmas radio or Top 40 radio at all.

The tazer reference is about Wedgie & Zezel date night.

I don’t know how any child survived long drives before car entertainment technology. We drove from Edmonton to Peace River in a rental with our very, very active 5 year old son and very intermittent, very bad radio. There weren’t a lot of things to I Spy. We played a version of The Dating Game where you pretended to be someone famous, over and over and over.

I hitched a ride about 15 years ago out to Halifax in a 1992 toyota van with a very finnicky cd player and the only cd that worked was the dead greatest hits.

I can say that I have a certain respect for the dead and jerry garcia in particular but by golly I don't listen to them voluntarily rarely ever anymore

There's something traumatic about bad roadtrips

Oh, I know. A few years after the aforementioned trip, we drove to Halifax in our own van which we bought specifically with an Entertainment system. My son was about 3 and my daughter was about 1. I think Cars 2 played on a loop all the way there and all the way back.

Driving kids for hockey I think I’ve listened to Superbad and Old School playing behind me 20 times each. Never actually seen them.

He scores one goal and no one's allowed to point out that he's an average defender full of warts who hit his ceiling at 22 ever again...

My kids now download movies on their iPads, throw on their headphones, and it's like they aren't even in the car. It's dead silence.

I feel guilty - it should be harder to endure a road trip with my kids.

My buddy just helped Bill Ny out at the Apple store and he passed along the message about winning the Conn Smythe.

Bill Ny now knows what he has to do. You're welcome.

The Leafs as a team are jinxed, so this counts as the reverse jinx?
