And, playing the snapshot in time game, last years Leafs lost the next 3 in row.

So 3 points in their next 3 games and they'll be tied with last years version at the 1/3 of the way pole.

Probably no one. Cause who cares about pts after 24 games.....this is an 82 games season.
But its nice to see Willie started out on fire, dipped for scoring goals for 7 games but kept a decent pace for points. 3 game pointless streak his the longest, had one 2 game pointless streak and a couple single games, but other than that has been pretty darn consistent. Which has been great.
Marner had a poop start to the season 2pts in 8 games, but has picked it up since. Having only two two game pointless streaks and one single game. No doubt he will continue and not only make up the two points he's behind willie but surpass him.
But those 8 games, it put him behind for sure.

Now if Willie stays ahead in points, then great as well, we need our top players to carry the slack when one of them are not producing are their normal rate.
Willie has had good season so far, keep it up.

Let me put some numbers to it:

The Islanders currently have a .353 winning percentage, and are on a pace for a 58 point season.

If you assume a team will need 98 points to make the playoffs (kind of an edumacated guess, based upon history), they need to play at a .662 pace for the rest of the season. That's the equivalent of playing at a 108 point season over 82 games.

That's going to be tough.

Was looking to see who they could sell...I don't want anyone on that team.

Mayfield might get a 2nd and a late pick.

It doesn't get much better than Lemmy, Billy Gibbons, and Dave Grohl covering Chuck Berry. Too bad there is no video
