Two very bad, very obvious decisions made with 4 minutes left. Didn’t pull the goalie while on the PP and went with the same ineffective unit. I’ll add no net front presence what’s so ever!
- SuperSchennBros

They didn't attack the slot and didn't even shoot the puck, the had possession but did nothing with it, the Flyers were so easy to defend. Their PP is complete garbage, I have seen college teams with a better PP at this point.

The wildcards seems distant to. And flyers as we see on this team bad at drafting to

To inconsistent to be a good hockey team. Coaching ? Veterans ? Young guys not stepping into meaningful roles on a consistent basis? …or all the above?

Nobody has any confidence with the game on the line. Nothing but hesitation.

Been a Flyers fan since the cup years. I don’t think I’ve ever disliked a team more than I dislike this one.

Why can’t they connect a pass without it hopping over their sticks??
- SuperSchennBros

Dave Scott bought an unlimited ten year supply of the cheapest tape sold by the Acme Corporation and nobody can use anything else until the contract is up. Cha-ching, saving $ is making $!

Only saw the last several minutes of the game, was the entire game this brutal? Did Risto cost the Flyers another game? Look at the bright side, one more step towards a rebuild. How did Hayes look tonight? From what I saw, he was as slow and lumbering as ever

Weren't the Rangers in a similar position 3 seasons ago. They tanked, sold off players, got draft picks, changed the front office, and now look at them. In all of the their rebuild, they always competed. I can't say that for the Flyers.

I would like to see AV gone and crew gone for sure but I don’t trust Chuck to right the ship either.

So early in the season to give up, but unfortunately they've once again forced me to that conclusion... Put a fork in 'em they're done.

Keep letting coots and g on the pp for over a minute. Then add yandle geez

Avs decision making is horrible right now

I was skeptical to his loooooooooong deal. League just faster and faster every year. But Bill and some of his always be happy about everything Flyers do crew pulling the HYPERBOLE card or something else to silent critical opinions

There has got to be something wrong with Couts, he doesn't even look like he's trying right now.

They were all equally guilty of being more enthusiastic about the pregame soccer ball play than the actual game. All players made mistakes.

The effort was there for the 2nd and 3rd period, but this team simply doesn’t have the horses to compete with the good teams. Their depth was supposed to be a great equalizer, but when the depth guys are complete no shows it’s obvious Coots and Giroux can’t carry this team bybthem selves…if they aren’t producing the Flyers have no shot.

The Flyers looked like they took a good amount of shots from the prime areas of the ice and only a few from the points, so that is an improvement. But as I watched the highlights, I noticed how the Rangers PP moved the puck back and forth quickly and got the PKs moving, thus that one timer from Trouba was successful. The Flyers PP, at least from what I saw was stagnant. But the big play of the game was Laughton's brutal turnover that lead to the Rangers 3rd goal. A competent NHL player should never make a play like this. It was as bad as Thompsons' give away against the Canes. It changed the complete complexion of the game, and when you are a fragile team its a killer!

Looking at the numbers from the game, it's predictable what the post game remarks will be.

They made some trades…got a couple of high draft picks…made some solid draft picks…signed a couple high end free agents…they used the full range of ways to better your team. They are only going to get better.

Turnovers are going to happen and it's a bad play but again, two forwards flying out of the zone. Laughton could've made a better effort after the turnover.

Its really a head scratcher. These are what I have always thought to be good experienced players making really bad plays in their own zone that are just killing this team. Laughton tonight, Risto and Provey against NJ and Thompson against the Canes. These players know better to be this careless in their own zone. Its almost like they are trying to lose, because its really hard to be a professional player and make plays this bad unless you are trying to.
