The lack of scoring was unsustainable. Our record did not reflect our play. Now it does

Sorry, I dont think there was anything wrong with the call. Aggressive call on an aggressive play.

Should’ve been 2 min. for boarding. Not 5 and a game

It might be 7 defenseman time. Isn't Hartford having covid issues?

If the league isn’t afraid of the rangers, they will be soon

the lines got all jumbled after the Hunt call (what an awful call that was) but as they usually do, they found a way as they say.

-Kakko. Finally developing and blossoming. Took awhile, but the eye test matches the production. I was getting worried there for a bit. He has been phenomenal

-Trouba. Earning that payday. What a different player he has become. Has to be the Gallant factor with him because he wasnt this last year

-Gallant. Thank his we got him. His system works. It is so suffocating to be the other team. That was the patience part I was babbling about. they come at you in waves

-Hunt. Drury gets credit for this one. This kid is a huge surprise. Really helping the Blais and Kravtsov situations. Diamond in the rough

-Laf/Chytil- need to blossom like Kakko is. They’ll get there, but still wouldn’t be surprised to see Chytil traded at some point for a piece they deem they may need to actually win this thing

Speaking of trades, I think a very good idea would be to trade for Maf or one of these Dallas goalies Holtby or Khudobin. Take a cap hit this year while you can a dump Georgy. Their Achilles’ heel is Shesty (injury prone) and we’re stuck with Georgy. He’s gotta go. Maf would be perfect and he knows Gallant from Vegas. We need to get insurance for Shesty, especially in the…dare I say, playoffs??!!

The turning point of the season was that 3-4 day break after the Calgary road game. 6-0 loss. After that and since, they’ve been lights out in every game, minus much smaller portions of games. They look like the Harem Globetrotters at times haha

Aside from poor play and previous trade request, gotta trade Georgiev after that bs tonight in the handshake line. That’s a cancer and needs to go now

Meh. I just watched the end again. It was a little weird, but I didn't get the impression it was personal. Maybe just from spending the better part of 3 hours sitting there watching a game he knew he would never get into.

the big picture is that Georgiev just isnt reliable

not sure which of these two games Gallant will play him in, I'd play Georgiev saturday, but I just have no confidence in him not derailing the magic happening here when he gets a start

Word.
(Don't worry, I won't do that again)

I have no idea why they won't send him down. Who cares if someone claims a back up goalie with no confidence and a significant price tag?

Awful. If it can be reviewed and it’s that close just let it go and take a look.
- TC88

Agreed but, before they can take that approach, the league has to get rid of the 2-minute minor penalty for an unsuccessful challenge.

Last night was an encouraging sign. Good teams always win the games that they should. Far too often the past few years, we'd leave points on the table against some of the bottom feeders.
