I still think the Sabres should of went after MAF, I mean hell if MAF went to Chicago I am sure he would of come here for a year or two.

It's human nature that we want to win, I get that but if the plan is to lose and he exciting/entertaining in doing so, Adams and Meatball have done this to perfection. I assume the goal is to draft the best center available when they step to the podium next July and to be honest I'm willing to enjoy the 5-4 games we lose. Sure it's frustrating to accept losing when there is a beer league goalie like Dell in net when we know damn well it's probably a win if we had an actual NHL goalie on this team.

What is more important this year making a playoff run or getting the best talent possible for the future? I think the plan is the latter and Adams as we saw with the Eichel trade held out til he got as close to what he wanted as possible. If the plan is to be in the top 5 come draft day Adams will stick to that plan and not go out and trade for a goalie.

I feel like if we havent gotten a better goalie by now we wont be, it would have been nice to model a bit like the Wings here. I dont see us being close at all to a playoff push to make a deal later.

For the Draft Ill take any one of Wright/Savoie/Slavosky
Lambert has been falling but i still like him been playing vs men since last year
Connor Geekie is another big boy id like on the team
Taking Jimmy Snuggard with the 2nd 1st would be a very Buffalo thing to do
