as much as I like and defend Risto, I wouldn't pay him more that this as a 2nd pairing defenseman. If he wants higher than this, which is his right, I would look elsewhere to fill this spot for the right price.

Nice move by the Habs today, I think Gorton is a good GM, wouldn't have minded the Flyers getting him to run things if the timing was right.

You said you wouldn't pay him more than 6 mil a year for 5. Question is, why would you give him that much? Provy makes 6.75. Ellis makes a little less. Parayko makes less than 6.
