Dach and Kurashev needs to sit a shift after not getting the puck out of the zone.

This may be one of the least talented offensive teams in the NHL. But they are battling hard.

Are you saying Kurashev is not as good as Hossa?

Reichel Update: Interim Head Coach Anders Sorensen that he is being evaluated today and will know more tomorrow. Tomorrow and off day for the club. #Blackhawks

Will check back in on Tuesday on both his status, Connolly and others.

Dach is still very young and I think he was rushed, but he appears to me to have limited upside. I hope he can be developed into a decent L3-Center.

R Johnson, Hardman and Carpenter shouldn’t be on the team.

Khaira and Kurashev are fine, but they should be on the 4th line. It might be time to bring up Nylander or Reichel (if he’s ok).

As much as this board says Strome should be waived, he is the second best face-off guy and second best passer on the team. I still contend, Dach has no hockey sense.

The guy with no hockey sense whatsoever is Gustafson. Poor reads, no urgency to retrieve pucks, bad positioning, etc.

Toews should be a lock for the Selke this year. The way he’s shut down Kubalik is awe-inspiring.

Great kid, he gets what it takes to play hockey. And that damn well will rub off on others. If others don't get it and don't wanna work as hard as him, trade their ass.

Wasn’t Dean Smith the only one to hold Jordan to less than 20 points per game?

Most likely— I remember 19 being a 3rd overall pick and having 69 points as a 20 year old—- we currently have a 20 year old that was drafted 3rd overall that might not get 70 points through 5 years of his career—- he also maybe be shutting down everybody that steps on the ice with him

Hagel has been a revelation. Only issue I see with him is how long will he be able to continue that pace of play. Guys can do it for a few years and then are either too beat up, too concussed or lose that “edge”. He’s a hard worker who still believes he needs to be balls to the wall in order to stay in the league/lineup.
