So they basically would be hiring a French PR person that knows a bit about hockey. If they want that then why not go a step further and hire someone like a Manon Rheaume or Caroline Oulette?? Let Gorton make the personnel decisions with input from them and others in the team.

It’s pretty silly to eliminate some candidates just because of a language issue. The players talk to the media more then the gm does and most of them can’t speak French.
