About 1 hour, give or take 5 minutes per episode.

First 3 episodes are really just 1 long episode introducing you to the whole thing and major ideas/series plot points, it can drag on at times... But starts getting good on the 3rd.

As I mentioned, I think that is how he gets away with putting an inexperienced (French) GM in place to mitigate the chance of problems, while putting the guy he really wants in charge at the top and not dealing with the whole French thing.
