Maurice is at least a year beyond his best before date. Guy always tries to make people think he’s way smarter than he is to the detriment of the team.

Another wasted year.

Very much agree, can tell in interviews Maurice sees himself as the smartest guy in the room.

All uncles always believe they are the smartest guys ever. Uncle Paul is no different!

So I'm guessing you're suggesting this?:

Connor-Dubois-Svech
Copp-Scheif-Vesalainen(on offhand for 1timers)
Ehlers-Stastny-Wheeler
Harkins-Lowry-Toninato

Well that could maybe work BUT the minutes would need to be distributed well so Ehlers gets adequate ice time to be effective, Wheeler would need to be dropped to line three where he likely belongs, Maurice would have to be willing to try Vesalainen higher in the lineup AND he'd have to get over his Lowry boner and put Lowry at 4C where he's always belonged, the stars would really need to align for all that to happen, I'm all for different things being tried to find something that works and like your idea Rexy but all that happening seems unlikely given this coach's track record with player usage.

Yeah, that’s what I was getting at with the lines.
I agree on all the following points.

I know it's only the quarter mark of the season with still lots of hockey to be played yet but it's pretty crazy that the Jets could slide out of a playoff spot tonight.

Was looking forward at the schedule and while there's some easier opponents coming up like Arizona there's also Carolina and Toronto on the schedule soon, really need to get out of this funk and bank some points.

They have to stop chewing their nails through the losing streaks and celebrating when the team beats a few under achievers. Maurice isn’t the answer. The team is good enough to win but will never win the big one with him. He’s routinely out coached and his line juggling and rewarding poor play from veterans and driving young players into the ground has worn thin.

Hellebyuck stole this game for us.

Uncle Paul out coached again.

Thank god for Kyle Connor, holy smokes, he is definitely turning into our franchise forward. Could change the game where we had no business being in; just with a single shot.

Individual shooting talent and goaltending saves the day again!

Calgary has a pretty solid PK, four guys line up on the blue line like a wall, it's impressive compared to whatever the hell the Jets PK is supposed to be.. Lol

Nice steal by Helle. Good on him to finish strong after being down 0 - 2.

By the eyeball, it appeared Wheeler had his best game of the year. Not just by getting 2 assists but was making plays, anticipating plays and not flat foot.

Statsny back playing helps this team as well.

What a day for former Jets yesterday! First Kane gets put on waivers, then Lemieux decides to show off the work done by his dentist on former Jets captain, Keith Tkachuk’s son.
