He has improved his game very nicely. If Sam was a 1RW, VO is playing like a 1RW so far this season. He has developed nice chemistry with Skinner and Tage.
I must say that I am completely blown away by Tage as well. I wrote him off and am very happy to eat crow on that if he keeps playing like this.
Which now brings me to The Don, Meatballs Granato. He is developing the vast majority of the young guys on this roster...which, this season is job #1, 2, 3 and 4 IMO. Add in some bnb older guys like Miller, VO, Skinner even...quite the job. He, like the young guys will develop as head coach. I was baffled when they let him walk. After drafting him high and the way he was raved about as a prospect he kind of disappeared and I imagine being in MTL had a lot to do with it but still, head-scratching.
