I'd bet Murray gets discussed here more than it was discussed in KA's office. Hard pass.
- Lunaion

Yeah, better chance there smoking crack than them picking up Murray.

Rumor is Chicago might have to retain on him to get a trade done. $3m cap hit right now.

I do this for a 3rd or lower for sure. 3rd overall pick, contract up at end of year. Give him a spin and whatever. If it works out, could be a steal.

- Lilroot9

Don’t see why not
Just wouldn’t give up much for him
If he doesn’t work out, we can always go right back to putting one of these scrubs in the lineup 🤣🤣🤣

Fair point

We are gonna need to find someone decent though
Not saying Murray is that guy
Not saying i even want him

Just wondering if losing a game on a goal like that might push Adams over the edge to try something different

- jdfitz77

I think going in with anderson, dell, and tokarski

they were expecting a bottom 6 team this year

You're assuming they're actually trying to win this year. That's a debatable assumption.
- Hank Balling

Actually, I’m not
But there are rumors out there that Adams has been calling about goalie help

And it’s not like Murray is Hasek
We’d still lose A LOT of games with him,
even if he plays well
The team in front of him still won’t be that talented

Is Fluery coming with him, if not why with Mitts coming back your just blocking a youngin

I'm all for it but I'd be shocked if it happens. Maybe a waiver pickup (not Murray) but I can't see them trading for a goalie

That is a reasonable conclusion to make
Might also have just been the best we could do in the offseason though

Neither Murray or Holtby are great goalies
But Adams might see them as guys to take a chance on

Then again, to your point, he may just wanna tank?

Have u heard anything??

Caggiula, Eakin, Hinostroza, Hayden, Routsalainen.

I think all over 24 except Hayden, off the top of my head. Those are the guys who will/should be blocked. Not a young player.

Edit: Keep forgetting about Bjork, which speaks for itself.

No it’s not at all blocking Mitts or any other talented player from joining our lineup
We have plenty of scrubs to throw in the press box if we wanted

no my guy literally semi retired and is focusing on other hockey now in his limited time

sabres play and moves burned him out and he was doing this since the late 70's

Gotcha
Good for him though.
Couldn’t have been easy for anyone in the organization these days.

We cheap now. Are his fancy stats and good at all? I’m sure that is a huge factor now, in making almost any deal.

fancy stats can't mean much when eakin gets 14 minutes a night

besides gonna save a little coin when they move miller for a 2nd

We are rebuilding. Trying to find some young players to help the rebuild so always be welcomed. Forgot about Mitts and even Tuch and these 3 power houses in Rochester. We may have a bit of roster issues later in the season. Decent problem to have.

Hard not to agree on the obvious but me and you and Fitz all getting along is a sure sign that the world will end with 5 second left in the Super Bowl this year as the Bills are about to beat the Buccaneers.

We are 4-10-1 in our last 15 and that’s with Tage going Super Sayian shooting 18%.

Donnie was dealt a terrible roster, I’m not expecting him to make the playoffs or make a meaningful push, I think he’s doing an adequate job so far but nothing special.

- Pegullaville

Gotta like the upbeat goal scoring team approach.

Tage is playing excellent
Skimmer involved
Goaloffson ppg guy
Dahlin improved ( by default)
Asplund looked as if he might break thru
Hagg 2 in blocked shots I'm the league

Lost his #1 center in mitts and top 3 defenseman in joker.
Lost their #1 goalie

Lost their best offensive player in goaloffson

Plus #1center #1 re, #1 defenseman #1 goalie in the offseason

Donnie's walking on water pegsville

I was expecting this board to erupt with Eakin out there when we were trying to tie the game
And then he played a huge role in us tying it
Can’t make that stuff up 🤣🤣🤣

They help make trade targets not the roster or lineups. But I would think they are putting in their two cents on where / when to play players, the advice just might not be used by Coach.
