Donnie is in on the tank.
That was goalie interference and he stood there with his hog in his hands - Pegullaville

The conversion to Centre is intuitively obvious. If Super Sniper Tage Thompson can do it, Dahlin will be Foppa 2.0 - Hatboro_Swords
It wouldn't hurt to try for a period. |

Why is Hayden on the team?
Somehow he is worse than The Drake, The Mullet, The Icelandic Singer and Hinnie-hole.
Murray should be in his spot. |

Dahlin out there on both goals making the "smelhik " noise.
Duh!
0 awareness by dahlin, definitely somebody else's fault. - Boss34
Really I dont think its to early to start calling Dahlin a 1st overall generational talentā¦ā¦a ābustā. I dont see much there. Hockey IQ low. Doing 360ās looking for the puck every other shift. No urgency. Just bad at defense.
Uggggg. Maybe power will be the one that turns into that. The one with little hype and tallness |

Donnie moving Tage to centre seems like a blind squirrel finding a nut at this point.
Everything else he does for the most part personnel wise has me scratching my head |

It'll be fun being known as a dirty team. Let's hope Z really brings out his inner Barnaby. |

It really was dumb luck. Desperate for C's and he wasn't at the top of their list of options.

I wouldn't go that far. My biggest issue was Caggiula, Hayden, Eakin, Hinostroza, Routsalainen all bringing almost the same size and production to the team. We didn't need our entire bottom 6 taken up by clones.
Murray not being with the big club is the biggest head-scratcher for me. We should have signed or traded for one more top-6 forward but we didn't, that's not on Donnie. Nor is the goaltending.
We are seeing more or less what we wanted to this year though, keep that in mind guys. Don't quit, learn from mistakes, be competitive. We all wanted to see those 5-4 losses this season instead of the 2-1, 5-2, getting shut out crap we saw the entire Eichel-era.
This current team has more fight and is more exciting to watch than the entire Eichel-era. That guy refused to take a game over. He refused to be dominant. He isn't a natural leader - He will probably put up 90 points per down in Vegas should he come back completely healthy.
But he isn't a leader.

Has there ever been a coach that has converted average guys to 1st line centers like donnie "the center whisperer."?
Dahlin seems like such an obvious choice. Probably worried about his confidence, if it fails.

Didn't donnie move 4 goal sam to center successfully last season?
This team should not have 8 wins. He's coaching great. |

Yes he did and Granato turned Mitts from a healthy scratch into a viable #2C/#1C (on the Sabres).

How many injuries did that take? These are desperate moves, not by design.

I wouldn't be rushing him in the slightest this year, though. But he will be a fan favorite for years, hopefully. Can't wait but we should be very patient with shoulder injuries - Took Tarasenko almost 2 full seasons and a couple of re-injuries to return to form. |

I never understood why teams don't shake it up a little more on back-to-back games. There should have been a taxi-squad this season. I would make an argument for a taxi-squad to become a permanent fixture in the NHL.
Consecutive games, swap out 2 or 3 players and play your back-up on night 1, especially if it's at home, and your starter on the road with the fresh players.
I don't understand this old-guard crap the NHL is so hell-bent on keeping around.
Gary needs to go. Get a young mind in there and rebrand the game entirely. |

It'll be really beneficial for them to get him back. That will open up some nice options for them.

Very good point. Could be.....
Why are all these desperate moves working out though?
4 goal sam looked good
Mitts looked much better (as my alt account mentioned)
Now tall tage
Starting to buck the coincidence trend..

Any way to save a buck on a road game. Also, new CCPovid variant. |

Probably something going on at the arena.
Using some of the Bill's media access would be a my guess? |
