The same guy that told me about the Joulevi trade a hour before it was announced told me this. I hope it falls through, I’m not a Babcock fan.

I personally would like to see what Roy could do with this lacklustre team.

- I-own_da-Northwest

Make Roy a Pres/GM.
FA wouldn’t be meddling after that lol

Yes, Myers can clearly see it's offside through the back of his head

Ya, I am sure players still don't talk to each other, because of the rift in the room.

Anyways, on the clip shown, you see Boeser coming over the boards and someone was just leaving the ice.
That is basic hockey no-no, that these guys just don't understand. You don't make a change when going on defense.
In this case, that is Garland heading off.

“No, I’m always happy,” said Podkolzin. “It’s a great joy to play here. Im lucky. Being in this league is cool. It doesn’t matter how much you play here. There is definitely no need to lose heart. I’m playing in the best league in the world! I go out and have fun.”

In a perfect world 👍

NYI needs scoring.
NYR can use a top 6 RW.
TB can use a solid back-up G

Drafting BPA would be better for who falls if this could happen. RHD remade with Woo a year or 2 away. Take a high end C if available in the 1st.

If the Islanders need scoring why wouldn't they be getting someone who scores, especially for that high price?

I think Sekeres is the one who started the rumor about the Miller / Horvat divide. So Imac called Sekeres a hack, which he is. Not the first time he has started rumors and was out to lunch.

I see.

I fully believe there is an issue in the room, but I believe it is Pouty that is the problem.
The sooner they make changes, the sooner the cancer gets taken out of the room.

I'm going to stick with (3years and counting) Green is not a very good coach and even if Benning hasn't given him a top 10 team that Benning has given him a team that isn't bottom 5.

I'm not talking about the goal, or the team structure in general. Just that some people here think Myers is a good defender. I'm just here with gifs to show that's not true. His defending on that player was bush league.

He is saying the guy didn't join in the witch hunt and give his opinion on what the problem is.

Oh, I know what you were trying to point out. Canucks have 2 defenders that are pretty clueless defensively, neither are worth the money they get paid, which is a Canucks/Benning thing.

Well, at least one of those defenders is a plus player who drives play and is tied for 9th among defensemen for points Much better than the Chaos Giraffe

That giraffe is having his best season as a Canuck so far I'd say. Finally got a partner that can bring him one step above sucking constantly.

It really doesn't matter though because the team plays a poor team structure. You could have team Canada's defence and it would still look like poop.

It is impressive that he is a plus player, but that will change, by seasons end.

He is having his best season, which says a lot about the contract and the player

Was reading an article on The Athletic about Man U's new manager, and this felt oddly familiar to the Canucks:

I’d guess that the plan is to strengthen the defence by organising midfield and attack, in other words, by having a clear idea about the way the team is meant to behave without the ball. It was the same story at Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel. Remember how Frank Lampard used to bemoan so many “individual mistakes”? Players make more mistakes when they’re playing as individuals, especially at the back, where every mistake can lead to goal.

Get a better coach, have a system players buy into, and everyone will look better for it

Best choice 👍🏻
- Shuswap Wap

Ya Julien would be ok too. Very good defensive coach. Players would have to buy in.

Ralf Rangnick. He was the guy who orchestrated Red Bull in Germany and Austria from nothing to something and steady top finishes yearly.

He was actually going to be the guy that was going to coach my fav side AC Milan before they hired Stefano Pioli. Pioli has done an amazing job which I've said a few times on here.

The right coach will get results.

I was actually just browsing through AHL coaches and Travis Green was always the wrong choice even if they wanted to hire a rookie coach.

Edmonton's AHL coach Jay Woodcroft had 3 years as video coach of the Red wings and 7 years Asst. coach in SJ, 2 years asst coach in Edmonton and twice Asst coach of team Canada when Green was hired.

Green had 1 years WHL coach, 4 years AHL coach.
