Well, lets say they make the full investment in Chytil and dont sign a Strome replacement. Barron then gets called up to be 3C.

Theyll have enough cap space to make it work in that scenario.

If they some how manage to dump Nemeth, you get some more cap space there.

I just don’t feel like we’re a better team if you add labanc and subtract strome

Strome's contract will be far more expensive than Lebanc's.

Shoot Tinordi into the sun and strap Georgiev to his back. That is all
- mdw7413

Tinordi is awful and then throwing him into a game where he hasn't played in a couple of weeks with Goergiev in net is asking for trouble

Tinordi reminds me of Hamrlik
in the 2013 Bruins series

He was certainly noticeable last night to say the least.

Which, by the way, sure looked like he was tripped. But in that moment, no need to complain or in my view for Gallant to say anything, unless he was protecting Zib
- airjan23

I don't doubt it. However, because it seemed such a strange thing to happen after the way they won that game, and since I had it DVR'd, I went back and slowed it down to lip-read what was going on. One of the words Gallant said was the North American pronunciation of "arshole" (I'm not sure whether he was saying "don't worry about that arshole" or he was telling Zibanjad not to be one). The other thing Gallant did was point to the "A" on Zib's sweater while appearing to say "that's why you have that"

I don't really want them to acquire a better veteran defenseman for depth this year, but Nils needs some AHL seasoning IMO

its probably inevitable that they will acquire somebody else as a rental

the good news is that Gauthier is thriving getting Blais minutes

I think I figured out why. I think Gallant always planned on playing him against the Isles on Wednesday since they expect a more physical game so wanted to knock some of the rust off tonight. Not that I agree with the decision but pretty sure why he played.

Kessel is gonna be a Ranger. Which should go over well here if that really did happen

I could also see them going after Crouse too. Another Blais kinda guy

I could see it, he's gonna be going somewhere, no doubt

the biggest problem they have is faceoffs though and he doesnt help with that

I think the better get is Pavelski but as was mentioned before the cost would be more prohibitive as well as there is the possibility he is not even available depending on Dallas' situation and his NTC.

What's keeping them from calling Kinkaid up? Even if you thought by sending him down, someone would clam Georgie, is that a bad thing?

If he waived to come here, I'd 100% trade Krav for him. I'm guessing Dallas wouldn't retain salary, otherwise we'd have to give up Krav, probably Jones, probably a pick.

Him getting pulled in a tie game during intermission is a real shot across the bow

I don't know how I'd feel about that. He's been highly effective on Tampa, but I think he might be one of those guys that's just better on that team.

Try not to mention the team from St. Louis...all that will do is lead to a certain poster telling us how valuable Tarasenko is and that he is for sale.
