I'm really liking Bunting with Marner/Matthews. Maybe that's the right combo for Mitchy to go hard.

Was watching off and on, made some nice saves, also looked a bit shaky a couple of times. Team played well for him

Great effort and result. Nice to see Marner get a pair and Kase get one plus the shut out by Woll.

Whelp, it's been an additional 3 games in which you said a lot could happen. You were correct.

Leafs got the 4th shut out of the year with a rookie goalie

Leafs won 2 out of the 3 games

As I said that night, they are a true contender by the metrics. Yes, they still need to show up and not underperform in the playoffs but it doesn't make this team a non-contender.

Road shutout in Woll's second game, bouncing back right away from the loss to the Pens...solid quality outing from the Maple Leafs.

I'll admit... Very wrong about giving him a second start.

That being said, (frank) is it ever great to see a leafs team giving their goaltenders a chance to do well. After years of expecting goalies to bail them out every night... This is weird and tough to believe is a real thing.

I saw a marlies tweet the other day. Marlies coughed up a 5-1 lead to lose 6-5. Kalgren(so) left the game at 5-1. Hutch let in the rest.
