Kane on a minimum 1 year contract
who says no? (outside of dubas) - TheMussel
Yes, in the AHL, to mentor the youth. |

I watched the Isles feed last night and it was pretty homerific all game. - mjones242
Really?
I watched it as well and found they were quite complimentary of the Leafs and fair in their own criticism of the Isles🤷 |

So we should waste 750k on a 26 year old doing well in the AHL when they have him on a capless show me contract? I don't get it. He'd also have to go through waivers. - AdamFrench
If he continues to rip it up in the minors, the team runs into injury woes and/or trades away forward pieces, it may well be worth it.
He's a project, for sure -- but my response was more about his AHL-only contract and how it would not be an impediment to signing him to an NHL contract. |

Not even Italian home cooking can fix Kane. |

So is Brett Seney (who?) - AdamFrench
So? They are different players.
Pretty obvious to me Dubas brought in Ho-Sang as a project to get him to the NHL. And also obvious that Ho Sang has much more talent than Seney. |

Leafs: 3rd best GAA in the NHL. I thought 7th best last year was due to the weak North? - RogerRoeper
The entire NHL is weak this year, that's the only reason the Leafs, Oilers, Flames and Jets are doing so well. |

Keefe's persistent line-blendering, which was also rampant last season, is pretty hilarious. - mjones242
I guess in a full 82 game season they might be able to gel with every player on the team….just in time for the playoffs 😑 |

Yeah, they mentioned a couple of times how the Leafs were deservedly in the lead and were lamenting the Isles slow start (again) but there were some ridiculous comments over non-calls and absurd calls that were eye-roll inducing (the Spezza penalty, as an example). |

Tyler Blowzak?
Come on Aeth, that's low.

If Suzuki had a Kessel next to him the 60 points wouldn't even be a question.
And yes, I know it was supposed to be Caufield this year. - Scabeh
I know you'd love that one!
How can Kessel be both the return for (apparently) the worst trade in history and the miracle behind Tyler Bozak
Agreed, I would rather have Suzuki. The point was I am not sure he is a top line player but he is thrust into that role. |

Ho-Sang is on an AHL only deal and can't be brought up. I hope this changes your mind. - AdamFrench
