you're statements on 60 points for Nick Suzuki have me interested, and i'll probably follow him all year. Wow he is streaky. After that start, I thoguht there was no way. Then he went on a hot streak and I thought it might be possible. Now he's disappeared again, and I doubt it. Most of his points came in a 5 game stretch.

not intentional. I've been pretty busy, and just haven't been on the site as much the last 2 weeks or so. If I was being nasty , I wouldn't have brought up his hot streak. I'm legit interested to see where he lands. He put up a large portion of his points last year in short streaks too. So I have a feeling it's going to go back and forth like this all year.

But yes, Suzuki needs to be more consistant, if he ever figures that part out, he'll become a star in this league.

Reminds me a bit of Tyler Bozak. He'll get decent points, and is a good player, but too much is expected of him because the team isn't good.

No, you weren’t being piled on and you weren’t being particularly obvious. Leafs are playing in more low scoring games, not just against the Isles.

IMO, these guys are not good enough to be first line centre on a top team. That said, it's not their fault the team doesn't have a better centre. Nothing wrong with him, but he's playing above where he should be.

Tyler Bozak was a perfectly good player. He found a spot on a cup winning team, so you can't knock him too much. He was just down the depth chart on that team.

Yeah, the Isles have some players in COVID protocol and are, ostensibly, an away team right now in their new arena.

I guess I'm just not as high on the Leafs right now as others. We're currently sitting in third in the division (P%) and I think that's likely where the team ends up. But hey, we're only 20 games so it's early days yet.

I think we’re just getting going, new guys, lines will take some time especially with Keefe switching them up every other game/period/shift.

Agreed, now if Matthews started shooting a little more, with his normal precision, it would make the California trip interesting.
