I think if they can get slightly above average goaltending, they are good
Nurse has been awesome (until injured), they just need either Bouchard or Broberg to step up.
How about Fleury and Chiarot at the deadline? |

I was thinking Price and Chiarot, 50% retained, for Koskinen and 3 1st
and yes, Nurse is a stud |

Fleury, as in Cale? I think you'd have to trade with the kraken first to get him back. if I'm not mistaken he even went through waivers and the habs didn't grab him, which I thought was a bit curious, but oh well lol.

1/ I honestly think Price is done, not from a performance perspective, but from a don't wanna play no more perspective
2/ I am not sure you can eat 50% of a contract, and certainly not that large. Plus, I doubt the Oilers (or any team) would want him around for that long.
Fleury and Chairot are on expiring contracts, and seem like a solid fit for that team.

you are most probably right. will wait to see if Price comes back, and how he performs. then, if he does good and wants out, I'm sure some teams would be interested. GMs remember he brought the team in the finals... especially if money is retained. |

As in MAF, Hawks goalie + Chiarot maybe make the Oilers cup favourites.

ahh, I see. I thought you were trying to set up some sort of specific deal between MTL and EDM.
I still think they should've grabbed Cale on waivers though lol... the habs' defense is rather weak so what did they have to lose, really.

could be very interesting. I'm not really a fan of other teams besides the habs but the Oilers could be a team I root for in the playoffs, they're quite entertaining to watch.

Yeah, been watching them more than usual this year cause I have McDavid, Nurse, Draisidle (sp?), And Hyman across my 2 pools this year. |
