The MTL board is funny. Theyre comparing Goodrow to a soccer player embellishment. We must have seen a punch to the face that they didnt see. Habs-o-vision.
Looking much much better the last few games with a lot of room left for improvement still. Love seeing Kakko gain confidence, and fully on board for Gaut moving up in the lineup. Trouba has been a beast lately as well.
This team can be scary if things continue to progress the way they have been recently and a few other guys get hot.

Only caught the third but I liked most of what I saw. Maybe there is something to giving the team 20 games or so to gel.
Next loss, they're dead to me.
Rangers foolishly left Gauthier unprotected and are extremely lucky Kraken are stupid. Bout (frank)in time they gave him a chance, been calling for it since they got him. This kid is a diamond in the rough

I dont know about diamond in the rough, but under Quinn's system he sure was roughing it. For every one step forward, he took 2 step's back with bad decisions and penalties.
I did say at the beginning of the year, agreeing with you here, that Gauthier under Gallant's system might be a good fit considering that he's very similar in size and play to the guys he had in Vegas.
Im hoping we see the last of Goodrow on Zib's line. Gauthier after his play, these games, deserves to put his skills to use with Zib and Kreider.

I don't disagree, but I won't be surprised if Goodrow stays put. They weren't exactly unsuccessful.
And IMO, if all the lines keep making tape to tape passes for 90% of each game, it won't matter!

agree - and nobody is more critical of his center play than i am but he played a damn good game especially just coming back from his concussion or w/e it was.

Gauthier reminds me of Alex Tuch. Who played himself into a nice contract and top 9 role in Vegas under GG. Big and fast with skills
It’s a close game, Subban’s not going to fight me,” Reaves said after the 3-2 victory over Montreal. “What’s going to happen, I’m going to go cross-check him, take a penalty, and they’re on the power play? I think I’d rather try and catch him with his head down with a hit or something like that. I know who’s going to fight me and who I’m going to have a chance to go after and he definitely isn’t one of them.”

You can see Kakko smiling. He knows that Reaves has his back.

Perfect...this will obviously get back to Subban and he will either have to save face and fight or one of his teammates is gonna take the beating try to stand up for him.
