We traded Leddy before the expansion draft and we absolutely allowed them to take Bailey. They chose Eberle instead. We didn't have the cap space to sign Jones or Hamilton and Lou was never signing DeAngelo.

Isles won 11 of 28 road games last year and things worked out pretty well, everyone needs to relax

They'll hopefully come home 6-5-2 from a road trip that wiped out about 1/3 of their total road games for the season. They always play significantly better at home and I'm sure they'll be fired up to have a new home to play in.

I've come to terms with it. I know that Deangelo is killing it on the points end but right now Trouba is absolutely murdering people while simultaneously putting up some points as of late. In a perfect world Trouba makes less money but I am trying to appreciate what he brings.

I expect a bounce back game tonight but who knows? Most of us were hoping for a 500 or better record at the end of this road trip factoring in this teams consistent slow starts and the adjustment with new players. Problem is the rest of the division is humming now so we have a little more catching up to do then expected. I fully expect them to right the ship and some teams to fall off a bit.

I kind of assumed that Florida would cool down when they lost their HOF coach. I just didn't expect it to happen this fast... hope it continues.
