Full agreement but that's a major part of the problem. Leaders need to lead not hide in the background. Lame ducks can't lead.
Rookie coach more or less.
Lame duck GM/management team.
Silent owner.
Retired captain.
Team leader/heart and soul away from team for unknown timeframe.
A ship lost at sea without anybody steering the wheel. |

Chiarot, Hoffman, Drouin, Armia, Lehkonen, Dvorak, Perrault, Kulak & Paquette should all be in play come trade deadline.... only way I move Toffoli is for a ridiculous return that includes a real solid prospect + a pick - OB
yeah but guys like Lehkonen, Perreault, Kulak and Paquette won't generate that much interest... besides, if Timmins and Bergevin are still there, is it really worth trying to get picks for them? |

I would not trade both Drouin and Hoffman but one of the 2 and the rest of that list for sure !
Welcome back BTW ! - Xizord
Thank you Leo, good to be back... everything good?
And yes, obviously not all will be dealt, but that's my "available" list... |

Late picks for sure, picks are nice to have, can use them in trades, bundle some up to move up in the draft... |

So...even no Wright, because I refuse to count on that...the more I think about it, they need top pairing d, scoring wingers and C so as long as the pick is "W-right" I don't care.
But yeah Shane Wright would be nice and immediately put every other C in the correct chair |

The 2 C from the Winnipeg Ice are on fire, Geekie and Savoie... both will most likely go top 10 |

I've actually seen Wright play but I'd imagine, like most years, the majority (not all) of people who say they know only know as much as they've read on it. So my answer is dafuq do I know? |

It's still a little early imo.
Plenty of these guys barely played last year so it's hard to identify a "steady" top 10 until the spring.
I'll once again post my wishlist before the draft though. |

They will draft someone in the top 5, rush them to the NHL, they will have a bit of initial success, when they are not a star by the second week of their second season the media and fan will call him a bust and 18 months later they will trade him for some guy that won't amount to anything useful. |

What is even more funny is seeing historians arguing over which tribe, than others saying it isn't even on native land.
Who cares? It's not like they are going to give back the land anyway. |
