He's got a .769 to my .935, so the outlook is good.

I got Vasilevskiy and Freddy and can only play 1 per day. Hopefully Freddy plays tomorrow and not Saturday so I can get a start from him and Vasilevskiy on Saturday.

- GreatGigInTheSky

I get what you’re saying but I just took a peak and I’ll be a tad surprised if they roll Freddy against philly (5th in their division with 14P) or on Saturday against St. Louis (1st in their division with 18P)

Then again if philly were to win tomorrow they’d have the exact same amount of games as St. Louis and only be 2P worse. So maybe it’s more intelligent to play Andersen against the team in their division and have better odds of taking that win.

Hmmmm I honestly don’t know lol… I’ll keep my fingers crossed for ya

I don’t think I’ve ever reported a comment in my life. I’m sure a ref could verify if I’ve ever done that if you are so concerned.

And nope, my iron maiden account is alive and well. I don’t get banned, fella.

I just like talking and, for the most part, reading hockey blogs/comments.

I don't watch him play as much as you guys do but aside from his obvious high level offensive talents, Auston Matthews plays a complete game. He looked like a Selke winner against the Flyers. Down low in the defensive end playing the entire rink. What a player.

Remember last year when Terry was struggling (20 pts in 48 games) and I constantly kept posting

Gibson Rakell and Terry

Another ship has now sailed….😔
Wake up Kyle

Buy low on Comtois!

Also, Chychrun is -20 now😳

Just because a player is struggling doesn't mean his team wants to sell him low.

So yes, buy low.... if someone's selling.

Not true, a bunch of posters waived Marner after the playoffs.🤣

Reminds me of Nylander's struggles a couple years ago.

Teams don't want to sell low on their young(ish) players.

I guess it's all about "do you still believe in that guy?".

If the answer becomes no, and someone still wants him, you trade him.

Comtois, Terry, Nylander (at the time) or Caufield were/are not in that category.

Or you trade them for a similar young player who is struggling.

Bottom line - you aren't picking up young players with potential for (frank)ing Kerfoot, regardless of how much they are struggling.

They’ve got two shooters and a grinder on that line right now. Willie feeling the love and is shooting whenever he can. Matthews isn’t scoring 5v5. I’m not sure this is a Bunting issue. I wonder if Matthews asks to get back with Marner or if they think this line will get going and gives them better balance.

Not every player has a linear path through development. These teams are more patient than we as fans are.

We can look at Liljegren and Sandin. They played them in the AHL together and it's helped them transition to the NHL game. They understand each other well.

Also, I don't recall another tandem of d-men who have come up to the NHL together from the minors. It will be fun if they play a lot of their careers as leafs together.

Wrong wing for Mikheyev and he’d hate it being on the defensive line. If he’s put into a shut down role again I imagine he’ll be upset and it will give a bad vibe for the team.

I know everyone loves Bunting but he’s really not anything special. 3P in the last 10GP is not good enough for the top line. Sit him and see what Mikheyev brings to table offensively and then move him right away for the best deal they can get before he’s hurt again.

As I pointed out in another thread, Mikheyev has played significant time on LW -- some of that in the last two playoff series.

Notice the only time you claim that is when he’s bumped up and playing with Nylander who’s the guy that makes the flip, not Mikheyev
