I hope to (frank) the team sees this. - GreatGigInTheSky
The team wouldn’t care what I have to say.
You guys don’t even care
I’m not sure that I care either
Lol
Seriously tho, I admit I was wrong about how it would look and I now say trade Holl for a minimum salary 7th d man. Play the guys they have been before tonight, and that way they have the cap space for when Mikheyev is back without having to move anyone else.

I mean, your line of thought was backed up by history, so it made sense. But Holl just happens to be All World useless and Liljegren has stepped up to NHL play very well.
I honestly don't care what we get in a Holl trade because him being gone is the best thing for the Leafs. But if some of the reporter guys are right and other teams actually want Holl (I'll believe it when I see it), then it could even turn into a win/win. Trade him and also get something for him.

The one I’m hearing is a better 3rd string goalie would come back if Holl was moved to the penguins.
I suppose the leafs could always do that and use someone like Rubins to be the 7th

Trade for a pick. It’s the $ - Canada Cup
I’d be amazed if anyone was willing to take on 2 million for two years in under a cap that’s not moving upwards anytime soon for a pick.
Move Holl, have a 7th making league minimum, and that’s enough to have the cap space needed once Mikheyev and Mrazek are healthy (which is looking to be about the same time)
