Gus only got two shifts in the 3rd as well.

Yeah. But that’s a good thing.

Could be a more interesting team if Hagel, Borgstrum, Tyler Johnson, Entwistle, Caleb Jones get healthy.

Back to back games with good goaltending. If we had better goaltending from the outset of the season we might have a few more points. But a few more points and they might not have fired Colliton. So there is that.

Fewer quality chances I believe. They seem to be blocking the slot a lot more now.

I'm not sure about Kane. He hit a post and Jarry got the slightest bit on his last shot. Of all the players on the Hawks, Kane is the one I'm least worried about. They need Hagel back and they need Borgstrom to be something of a point producer. There are simply too many plugs playing right now. I think the Hardman experiment is close to being done. He tries really hard and has decent board play, but he's all over the place. Maybe it's just me.

I'm going to be very interested to see how Kalynuk fits into this new coaching dynamic. Maybe we will see him let loose a bit more.

Not knocking Kane, it’s just that something is off with his hands, maybe I’m just spoiled from watching the best hands in the league all these years. Carpenter and Hardman both -2 in limited time on ice. Time to play Borgstrom and T Johnson when they’re ready.

King may be playing the same system Colliton was playing but it sure looks more organized.

Who knew, all Colliton had to say was “hey, have some fun!”

I think just puck luck. (and playing with Dach as his center). Maybe Borgstrum, or dare I say Strome, might get him going. Or maybe the mysterious injury held over from last season.
