Well, the Rangers aren't being influenced by luck according to this (not so sure about that )

But they are also sporting a very low shooting percentage and are getting severely outshot. If they can normalize their shooting percentage and stop getting outshot consistently they could be in business.

The Rangers shooting % is over 2 points lower than last season. It should go up, which will lead to many more goals. Just give it time....

No we were actually about exactly the same in GF and GA in the first 13 games last year but our record better reflected it at 4-6-3 so that's a good point by you. it just feels worse this year. i dont have the energy to look at the underlying stats for just the first 13 games last year but i bet we rank higher than dead last like we do this year.

Pay to Park is 1/2 block away, not far walk at all. January 2nd is a Sunday too, so not nearly as much traffic.

It’s mostly fine until you take a wrong turn. There were a few bars we used to go to in college in that area and it always felt very safe.
