1-1 nice to see, better yet the shots on goal against. And actual quality chances in the ozone. The passing already looks so so so much better.

I tend to agree about Entwistle not being ready. He does some things well but he gets caught flat footed allot especially in his own zone. He sometimes loses his man on the backcheck and there have been many times he’s not on the defensive side of the play when he’s battling for the puck. I like how he gets his nose over the puck, how he isn’t afraid to get involved physically and how he goes to the net but he needs to learn the defensive side of the game and the NHL isn’t the place to do it.

He’s a regular on the PK, and his strength in Juniors & Rockford was his defense. I believe Wiz had him with a high hockey IQ. That said, he’s far from a finished product. Most didn’t expect him to make the team until later this season or next.

Quite frankly, the Chelios girl was more insightful, and more talented in being a tv presenter than he is, I was not a fan of konroyd / mayers as analysts either, but they at least had some local market credibility. Shame they couldn’t get Sharp, he got pretty good in a short time on the network games.

Early on he held a puck for possession so his line could change rather than give up possession

Same thing I identified Entswittle failed to do early

He was listed as one of the part-time studio analysts. Maybe he'll show up after UV's hockey season ends.

Isn't the prohibition on sending him to Rockford over now? Or, was that a permanent thing after they decided not to send him back to juniors? He might be well served playing with Reichel in the AHL for a while. Hopefully, learn how to finish against lesser talent and build up the confidence.
