To not have the team sleep walk through games. Loose to a depleted penguins team which would have been a way worse score if not for hart. To not play a 0 0 game for over half of the game against a winless echl team in the coyotes. To flat out not show up against calgary. Need I continue?

The issue is not leadership. It's that they're not good enough. Not in sync as a team. I blame the coaches more than player leadership.

I think like everyone, the Flyers are missing a top defenseman and a 2C. They have major issues with line 2 and the 2nd defense pairing. Coaches can't do anything about injured players but they can make lineup changes. What are they waiting for?

Always someone else. Never the guy who has been the “leader of the team” for a decade. Multiple GM’s, multiple line ups, multiple coaches. But it’s not the one common denominator. The guys is a god

I am really glad you posted this Bill, after AV's comments I was seriously thinking I had watched the wrong game.

I agree 100% on missing Ellis. I agree with the 2nd line being in a funk and the third line playing with some fire but just not cashing in. The 4th line is growing on me, but slowly.

I am not sure how where who moves when Hayes returns to the lineup. Does Laughton move Brassard move to the 3rd line and Laughton move to the 4th?

I was worried about Ellis and in the injury factor, here's hoping he has it out of his system for the year.

I am seriously wondering how much of the slow starts and seriously uneven second periods are coaching related. How do other teams always manage to get the jump on the Flyers? How is it the long change in the 2nd period doesn't seem to have an impact on them?

Exactly. & who has been here throughout all of that? It’s time G gets blame instead of the pass he’s consistently got because he puts up points. He’d rather skate around & call guys pigeons than lead the right way.
