I wouldn't be surprised if Romanov is here illegally.

Eichel a Knight

Pending trade call, The @BuffaloSabres trade Jack Eichel and a 2023 3rd round pick, to the @GoldenKnights for Peyton Krebs, Alex Tuch, a 1st in 2022 and a 3rd in 2023.

Quite the start to the day! And Vegas will allow Eichel to get the surgery he wanted...interesting....

Not much they could do for a guy with a (frank)ed neck that refuses to get any other medical procedure and has demanded a trade with a huge cap hit.

Basically two firsts and a top-6 forward...not too bad.

Vegas' 1st is likely not an early one. Krebs has lots of potential and has lit up junior and the A but his 0 points in 9 games this year and Vegas' willingness to trade him are warning signs. I like Tuch and think he's on a good contract but his prime will now be wasted during the Buffalo rebuild and I don't imagine his game ages well - maybe they trade him too while his value is still decent.

For a player who was considered a top five or ten player in the league before the injury that's not a great return. A late 1st lotto ticket, a struggling high end prospect whose drafting team was willing to give up on him and a piece that will never help them compete during his prime. Nice pieces sure but I'd be pissed if I'm a Sabres fan

In regards to the willingness to trade Krebs as a warning sign, you have to remember they were willing to trade Suzuki, too... And that turned out pretty good for us. They realized you have to give to get.

In fairness, the Habs apparently asked for Glass and were rebuffed with Suzuki...but point taken. If the Habs were in this position trading Eichel I'd be frustrated at best with the return

Almost. Armenian coffee is so finely ground, they add it directly to the water, making for a thick, dark, heavily caffeinated brew.
