Right. Gonna be tough to actually prove when you were employed by them for 4 more years, which included signing a new contract.

The Hawks will settle because PR/Optics wise its the proper thing to do, not because they fear losing a court case, but I would guess that they will push back if the ask becomes something ridiculous.

Have seen a number of people on reddit asking if anyone has had success getting a refund on this year's season ticket packages. Not sure the team would even consider it, but it would be a source of goodwill in the fanbase if they were to offer people that option in light of the circumstances.

That's interesting I wasn't aware of that. It would be a start to earning back the trust of the fans and community. But I will believe it when I see it. I was talking to guy just behind me a season ticket holder who said he can't even give away tickets. What a phucked up situation going on with the organization. On ice product is only adding to it

Ostensibly because they cannot continue supporting the team after the Beach situation came to light, but I'm sure more than a few are saying it's that, when really it's the product on the ice.

You've gotta like the way Jones works along the blue line during the power play. He seems to be settling in a little bit more. Phillips has good composure in his own end, just needs to get a little better at reading plays.

^That keep he made before the Kane goal was a beaut. Very athletic.

The passing out of our own zone was brutal, then after the pp play it got so much better only 2 or 3 times we threw it out to center ice with no concern of possession, Kane helps so much

A lot of positives so far, and only one goal allowed in last six periods, that’s more like it. I just don’t understand why Carpenter has more TOI than any other forward not named Kane, mind boggling. Look, Carpenter is not their only challenge, but it doesn’t have to be a challenge, there are better options. Grrrr… Lets get the next goal.

I'd say the kid is doing pretty damn well for a just turned 20 year old kid, 141st pick overall coming up from a weak Rockford team. And he is a big boy, something this team needs.
