Well, to fuel your thought I would say that even Nick Suzuki is playing/producing like a 3rd line center. Besides, it's pretty obvious that the main reason for this fiasco is their D. They spend 20-30 seconds chasing the puck in their zone on most shifts, then they get exhausted, wingers are static because their dmen can't control the puck and make a decent tape to tape pass. So i really don't see the point talking about wingers since there isn't a single group of wingers on any team that would make a difference right now for the Habs and Dvorak should be the least of Bergevin/Molson concerns.

He's not trash and the trade being awful has nothing to do with him.

The Habs as their roster was constructed didn't need to get better but still suck and sure as hell shouldn't have been trading top picks. Nothing to do with Dvorak. Everything to do with Molson and MB lying to themselves and fans and setting the franchise back

This is fair, I'll concede it was a bad trade given the circumstances. I was saying at the time they should probably rebuild, but if Bergevin is going to go for it it better be all or nothing and Bergrvin took this really poopty middle ground. Value wise in a vacuum it won't be too terrible given that it looks like we'll be bottom 10 and Carolina will have a late pick which would result in the Coyotes getting a late 1rst and 2nd. Still an overpay, but not McDonagh for Gomez catastrophic. I'd say we can recoup most of his value if we trade him out.
