he'll receive a phone call from Molson, and he'll know exactly what is coming up.

imo, yeah. can't really think of any player who had surgery on their backs/necks and it not affecting their careers. i am sure they may be some but i can't recall any.
- Gramps28

to be fair though, medical procedures are continually evolving and getting better, so if you're talking about athletes that had surgery 5 or 10 years ago it's quite possible things have changed since then.

When I wished for a lottery pick at the beginning of the year never in my wildest dreams did I think it would be so easy. No matter who they play they lose. No matter how bad the other team is they lose. It's a thing of beauty.

Now no stupid attempts to salvage the season, just......shh, shh, shh 21-22 season, go towards the light, dont fight it. Everything will be better soon.

Eichel at 50% would still be better than anyone else on this lineup

I wouldn’t read too much into this loss… missing 4 key guys, end of a long road trip on a B2B… And the game was still a tossup with 8 minutes left.

I think you guys will be fine, once you get some people back.

Full healthy team would not look much better.

Not when you consider the cap hit and all the picks and prospects you have to give up.

Bad trade on any level.

I consider myself as an optimistic person, generally speaking, but it's getting harder and harder to see anything positive from this group.

yeah, getting a high draft pick is a very positive thing (potentially at least, lol) but I don't see tanking as being positive at all.

the laffs can have him, he'd be the perfect replacement to Sheldon Keefe after their next 1st round exit.

only so much they can do for (frank)ed up discs, pat. replacement is fairly new but untested on hockey players.

The cap hit is fine for a player of his talent. That’s the going rate for a top tier centre. Who knows what they are expecting in return tho.

that will be interesting to follow, should be a close race between them and the Bruins.
I don't see more than 3 teams from the Atlantic making it.

Yup. And it looks at times like TB doesn't want to be part of that 3

depends on whether they change the coach or not. and the jackets have the hawks 1st round pick, btw. unless the hawks win picks 1 or 2. then it moves to 2023.
which just extends the agony of trading for seth (frank)ing jones.
