After a day off yesterday, the Habs will be looking for revenge for their humiliating 5-0 loss in Montreal tonight when they face the Sharks for a second time in 10 days. - Karine Hains
If they win, will they party like it's 1999? |

I smell a bad trade incoming to try to save this season, when the Habs should be in full sale mode (already). - Mashadar
most, if not all, placed them out of the playoffs. with a full lineup!
I don't think a trade could save the season. one could happen to change the mood, but not save the season.
and yes, hopefully they'll be sellers. |

one thing the people neglect is, even if this team was somehow less of a tire fire... Jake Allen isn't that good.

He's a solid backup.
Him being our number one goaltender was NOT the plan.

Not saying a trade would / could help save the season.
I am saying they are getting to that predictable desperate point where they will make a (probably bad) trade that will hurt in the long run for the Habs.
Habs should be selling players, taking on other's cap space for picks / prospects, at this point.
That Dvorak trade is not looking good about now. Fine player, decent contract, but the pick is likely more valuable at this point. |

Well, if it's a top 10 pick and the Canes go far, it's gonna be worth it. |
