Meh, it's a show, just enjoy it.

it's funny how things changed. when i watch the old wrestling on youtube the first few rows are peppered with young women. now hardly any women go compared to back then.

i'm also always surprised by the amount of old people that used to go to see wrestling. you don't see that anymore either. elderly couples and feisty old ladies that would wag their finger at the bad guy or even hit him with their purse sometimes.

I think it's very dumb to force diversity everywhere but I'm not gonna get angry about it...I can still appreciate a good show.

I'm not angry but there are tjmes where it removes me from the watching experience or eliminates that suspension of disbelief because you notice something that feels forced rather than natural for the point of advancing a plot and you start going through the checklist that they have to check off to satisfy everybody's agendas. It stops being art at some point

I mean, it would be better without all the forced stuff, but more often than not, the show can still be good.

I'm fine with that assessment and feel pretty similar, I'm not cutting my Netflix or anything but that doesn't mean I'm just going to pretend it isn't obvious and agenda driven at the cost of the quality of the programming

I find right now this current trend to include LGBTQ elements in everything is exaggerated and often seems like a corporate strategy rather than genuine inclusiveness, but then an opinion such as this one is automatically deemed homophobic and ignorant, so whatcha gonna do lol...
