i've had chocolate peanut butter porters before. they're like a dessert beer. you just drink one. sometimes around the holidays people have the du claw sweet baby jesus, which is chocolate peanut butter porter. it's for when you're having your slice of pumkin pie after dinner.

now i loved honey nut cheerios as a kid. i could eat the whole box if someone didn't stop me. but i just don't know about it in a beer.

the beer ive been dreaming about is this blueberry-style beer that's popular in Boston/New England. served with actual blueberries in the beer. cannot find anything like it outside of the region.

i usually hate them too but this one just worked.

most of my fruit flav beers have been acquired outside of the province. Most microbrews here just like making 11% beers with an elf (frank)ing a skull on the label.

It's a name that doesn't attract controversy by taking the team's colours in its title, unlike the mascot. It (the mascot - named 'Big Joe') was originally named Joe Mufferaw, after Jos Montferrand. Didn't sit well with some of the locals as it 'basterdized' the Montferrand name.

You should try the Blueberry Blonde beer from Broadhead Brewery here in Ottawa. Pretty good - made with real blueberries.

i don't really like them that boozy either. it covers up the taste of the beer for me.

i'll just have bourbon or a glass of wine if i'm in the mood for something like that.

When you do a beer tasting, people always keep those for the end because they have the strongest taste. No one wants to drink an 11% beer when they're already piss drunk, that's why usually I drink them first.

Don't do lots of tastings anymore anyway, the best is just to buy 2-3 good microbrewery beers and get some quantity beer for the rest of the evening. After 2 or 3 you don't appreciate the taste as much anyway.

You know how I know you’re a hipster doofus? Because no one actually likes any IPA’s. Hipsters just pretend to like them because they’ve been told they are “cool”.
