Hmmm I guess you could see it that way.
But it's borderline at best imo. - Scabeh
Sees the numbers all the way and decides to go for it.
There is also the way he hits sometimes, his skates often leave the ice, he propels himself into the opponent.
Great hockey player, but he does some dangerous stuff on the ice. |

Oh I've seen him do some pretty bad stuff for sure.
But this particular play, looks worst than it is imo. He slows down before hitting him, doesn't lift his skates... he does hit him pretty damn close to the numbers which is why I'd understand someone seeing it as a penalty.

I know he's supposed to be good but it took me long enough to learn how to spell and pronounce Kotkaniemi correctly |

Well he's ranked #2 and he's russian so he'll slip to #3 where the Habs seem to end up drafting.
Obviously he'll either bust or we'll go with Nathan Gaucher despite him being ranked outside the top 10.
Fun fact, Gaucher shoots from the right. |

He and Kane would have been better to say nothing than to give their BS wish I'd have known stuff. On one hand I respect Toews for saying he found out at training camp the next year but on the other that opens a lot of questions about him and his doing and saying nothing - Takemedrunkimhome
I am not sure they really had a choice to say nothing.
They probably would have been vilified if they didn't offer up anything.

Ok...then I'd say their agent or Hawks PR should have given them a "here is what you do and don't say" crash course. I honestly think both players would look better if they said nothing because of how bad their answers were |

Bruins fans were chanting "Fire Quenneville" yesterday.
Think we could hear a similar chant for Bergevin eventually? |

Long time between now and the draft and a lot of eligible players barely played last year so seeing a lot of movement in projections wouldn't surprise me either |

Don't disagree.
At the end of the day, lots of looking the other way or the "someone else will deal with this, not my problem" thing going on in that whole organization.
So if anyone associated with the Hawks at that time are getting poop on now, good.
Also, MB is part of that pack.
Hard to believe he knew nothing about it.

Yeah, after last year where lots of players did not even play at all, going to be interesting how things shake down...

I don't want to speculate too much but MB's answers have been pretty couched, "I wasn't in that meeting" isn't the same as "I didn't know about it" |

100%.
Also, with how terrible the team is playing, now add this in, Molson can get rid of 2 headaches at once, while using the poor performance as an excuse.... side stepping any Hawks blowback / need to address having MB as his GM..
Fire MB already.

Ever wonder why Dale Tallon left that organization after all the work he did in building that team back in 2009?
Maybe he knew and wanted to say something, so they demoted him..

At this point I am so ready for a change, I might even be tempted to take Houle and Tremblay back...
So Roy.
Whatever.
