Don't forget Risto, he played a great game tonight! Sanheim was better, but still a lot to clean up in his game. He has got to be better on the 3rd Oiler goal.

It’s still early in season, but it’s nice to see us winning with key players injured + some guys haven’t found their scoring yet. We are winning with our top 2 lines , but eventually JVR and Oskar will get going. Same with Laughts

Yeah. Solid win against an unbeaten team. Not a perfect game and their goalie gave us a couple gifts but well done overall.

3rd period was their best, killed penalties, G won big draws down stretch, D was solid and so was Hart. No Ellis and not full lineup. Each game will usually have 5 plus goals, someone will be responsible for the goals, Flyers just need to make less mistakes than the other team, lol

Thompson was better than I thought he would be, does seem like he loses D zone face offs to much. For who he is, he can’t

Really glad to see hart have another strong game and hope he keeps on improving. Critical as everyone knows.

Only saw the first period. Sanheim was really good in that period. Ristolainen was okay. I thought the first period high sticking call on him was a bad call. Watched the goal highlights and looked at the game stats. On the Hyman goal, Ristolainen was really weak on the puck in the puck battle in the corner. Sanheim has to have tighter coverage on Hyman and instead of reaching, move your feet and take the player physically. Statistically, Ristolainen did not have a good game.

If Ellis is out for more than a game, and he has been already, York should be in the lineup. Seeler ok for spot 1 off game duty. Otherwise he doesn't help for multiple games in a row in the lineup.
