Pretty relieved so far that trolls from other teams haven't lit us up in addition to the suffering we are going through. I think as fellow hockey fans, everyone understands our pain.

It'll come up again no doubt once we have a competitive team and are playing for something that counts.

- Popsghostly

Even for other Fans, this is a very sensitive subject. This guy's life was ruined not just a potentially good Hockey Career. Anyone trolling, has no soul.

As i was saying a few days ago this org has to many business minds in the organIzation and now hopefully we see more hockey minds fill the positions that opened up.

Is Eddie Olczyk going to give us an Insincere comment tonight on the TNT broadcast?

Anyone want to talk about your mayor! The Bears! The city's crime rate?
- Shady1962

She's great, grooming franchise QB, crime rate is much higher in certain areas.

Toews looked gased during third period and over time...The guy is done.....He shouldn't be in fouth line he has no energy....The team would be better without him...
How about Kane for Eichel.....How about Toews for anybody......

The fact current players, Toews, Keith, etc said they didn’t know is laughable!! Players have come out saying the whole team did. So embarrassing for the organization.

LOL it was a good post. I liked it. And yes, you are right, an exhausting day. I realize I should be poopting on the team for losing tonight, but they played hard and did get a point only losing in a goofy 3 on 3, which could have easily been won by the Hawks. poop happens. It's the first time since last year I enjoyed watching the team play hockey.

Sorry folks, this is a truly dark day for not only the Chicago Blackhawks but Hockey and the NHL.

I found the report and the interview on TDN with Kyle Beach heartbreaking and infuriating and left me with a pretty hopeless outlook on humanity.

Easy to talk from the cheap seats I know, but it’s so hard to believe that so many players , coaches, people in management, the League office, and even the Goddamned NHLPA decided to keep quiet, deny or even cover this poop up….for what? Money? Championship Glory? Ego?
This is the world we live in and it’s not exclusive to the Blackhawks. Humans will always put their own self interests before the lives of another.

Hard to call his teammates heroes at this point. I’m disappointed in Duncan Keith’s response and to be honest, wish he wasn’t an Oiler.

Isn't that the mindset that got some of the Hawks front office in trouble? As long as it isn't in my area it's no big deal?

I get your point. On the other hand, did you see what happened recently in Philly (pretty sure it was Philly)? A woman was sexually assaulted on a crowded train, and not one person did a thing about it. Just watched.

That’s where we are as a species. It’s sad. I’m not out for blood, I just have a hard time looking at his teammates now as heroes of any sort.

Fantastic response from a rival opponent. Too many trolls and idiots infiltrate when a team is down. Your contribution was outstanding. Thanks for posting.

Yep. Extremely disappointing.

I think the worst and maybe most overlooked part in the reports is that Beach went to the NHLPA and they did nothing. What good is the PA if they just stay out of the way when something THIS egregious comes their way?

I can actually believe Toews when he says he didn't learn of it until training camp the next year. I cannot believe Keith, or Chevy, or Q saying they didn't hear anything at all. Those are guys who figured if they just kept denying it would go away. Oops.

Funny how guys who are out of the league all knew, but people still involved in the NHL know nothing about it.

Real funny.

That bothered me as well. What scumbags the PA are as well as the league office. They are complicit as far as I am concerned.
