Agreed. Curious how much the team profited during those hay-days. That 2M better be set aside and divided up solely for all victims involved. Doubt that is what happens with the money, but you have to think that this guy ruined many careers, and more importantly, lives. Lets hope the 2M is just the tip of Chicago's fines and forfeitures. The victims deserve to drag them through the mud.

Yes he is. He will not be making anything over 1M as a UFA, and I hope we don't bring him back. Terrific human, terrible hockey player. That latest "trip" was a blatant slew foot and he is lucky he didn't ruin that guys MCL. It was another gutless move and PK again turns his back when confronted with his actions. Of course they scored with him in the box, and 2 more times while he was providing soft coverage 5v5. Jaros would 100% be more effective in this lineup.

After Hughes' 1 week follow up, his shoulder dislocation is stable and there are no unforeseen issues. He will be re-evaluated again in 5 weeks.

Death taxes and the worst special teams

At least the 5v5 play this game is actually good. Just not scoring on these high danger chances is going to bite us in the ass sooner than later.

Playing with fire in the 3rd

Power play is still garbage, penalty kill looked less horrible.

I was wrong about Vesey, he's been strong defensively and his offensive contributions are nice for a 3rd/4th liner. Good passer and decent shot.

Bernier is very good.

Johnsson is a completely different player this year. This is the guy we thought we were trading for and I'm glad he's finding his stride and that the points are starting to add up.

Looking forward to getting Wood and Hughes back. Wood will give us even more jam and I think could be a good fit with any of our bottom 6 guys. Bernier was epic tonight. Still waiting on Hischier. I'm sure his advanced stats are great. My eye sees he can't out-speed, out-muscle, out-stick the upper half of the league. Maybe it'll come further into the season. really want this kid to be great, and he's of course still young.
