There is an actual program (national vaccine injury compensation program) for people that have adverse symptoms so yes it happens... I personally know 3 people that have had severe reactions from the vaccine and one died. I have yet to know anyone who has died from Covid or anyone who had worse symptoms then a 4 day flu. So to deny that it can is very ignorant.

It only affects the weak and old.

Sutter is a faker and just trying to cash a cheque.

How is that a choice? Listen to yourself. They weren’t given a choice!
- Shuswap Wap

I choose to be a doctor. I also choose not to get the required education. It’s bullpoop they won’t hire me, they’re not respecting my freedom! Why should I have to do something I don’t want in order to get something I want!!

You should take your own advice and listen to yourself. There’s been plenty of people that have had to make hard choices in life long before this vaccine ever came about.

Don't make assumptions on my opinion. I never said anything about it being a flu... but maybe show some respect to others that may have different experience.

I like the additions and most of the roster this year. I am tired of the same old boring ,ineffective , predictable hockey.

I don't mind Rathbone's mistakes but agree he does need some time in Abby.

Can't help but notice that most of the players showing heart and doing well are players that haven't been coached by Green more than a month.

The individual talent on the team will still carry themselves. Doesn't always equal to a team win.

You said, "or anyone who had worse symptoms then a 4 day flu," and I reminded you of Sutter. Now you're angry.

Not angry... just don't have time for childish responses. People have no respect for others anymore and can't talk about the subject without force feeding the narrative without regard for anyone's experiences or opinion. I just stated there is a program for Vaccine Injury so it happens..... it is fact. So go pull your commy bullpoop with someone else.

Yeah that part of it is brutal. Everyone needs as many nurses as they can get right now.

Do we have a nurse shortage? 400 cases in hospital in the province is… very few

Sure, there are absolutely people who have been adversely affected by the vaccine. That's to be expected when there are literally billions of people around the world who have gotten the jab.

But if you dig into the numbers, you are VASTLY more likely to die from the illness than you are from having an adverse affect from the vaccine.

The problem with anecdotal evidence is that we don't know if it actually reflect the real numbers (one way or the other.)So the reason that people will jump on your anecdotal evidence is because it doesn't actually reflect the scientific evidence. And people use the anecdotal evidence to discount the scientific evidence.

You pointed out anecdotal evidence about the vaccine. We do not know your friends so we have no idea whether we can trust it. But there is someone all of us on this board 'know' who got the illness and still isn't well. A guy who comes from one of the most no nonsense hockey families ever.

If we are going to use anecdotal evidence, let's start there.

So there is a great vaccine available for those fearful of this.... Go get it. It is too bad it doesn't stop transmission. I do understand that risk is greater from getting Covid then the vaccine. I understand numbers. The yearly risk of getting the vaccine booster isn't going away though.

Maple Leafs preferred face covering. Funny how their fans were ready for the pandemic for years.

Sort of surprised Fla didn't tell Coach Q to take the night off. I wonder how his players feel about this? You would think some players would tell him to go Fvck himself.

Correct and who didn't expect it?

There will be mutations and yearly boosters are going to be required until an anti-viral comes available. I think that will give people a choice about the vaccine. But if you get the illness, you'll be relying on an even newer and less tested new drug.

When it comes to jobs, let's remember that there is no right to a job in Canada. You are allowed to be fired for any reason (provided it does not violate enumerated rights - and this will litigated re: vaccine) with adequate severance. So when we talk about choice, there has always been a choice for an employer to fire someone for basically whatever reason. Those who argue choice for the employee are basically saying the employer shouldn't have a choice. That's a fair enough opinion but that will open up a can of worms in the future because this seems political in opposition rather than scientific. Beware the intended consequences.

Kudos to sopel and Carrillo for speaking up against them too.
