Clearly, Keefe believes Lilybust isn't quite there yet and that Dermott is the better option. But I don't think Dermott moves the needle in that 7-1 blow out loss.
Since Lilybust is waivers exempt he's not going to get much of a look this season. - mjones242
What they’re hoping is that Sandin is able to settle in well enough to replace Rielly and then they bring up Liljegren to take Sandin’s spot

Holl is fine as the 4th guy. Problem with that pair as of late is Muzzin constantly leaving Holl to defend on his own by trying to skate with the puck. - Dozzer
He's not though. Holl has traditionally been carried by Muzzin and his ineffectiveness as a defender is exposed that much more with Muzzin in sloth mode.
If the plan was to have Muzzin skate more with the puck, Holl either: a) didn't get the memo -or- b) is too dumb to recognize that he better play more cautiously.

Precisely what I mean.
Don’t let Muzzin be a puck skater, he sucks at it. Have them both stay home and Muzzin can defend roughly 2/3rds of what’s needed and Holl, nothing more than a 2 million dollar d man, can handle 1/3rd.

Why is Quenneville coaching tonight? - Canada Cup
I'm with you. I'm absolutely perplexed as to how at least a hammer if not an axe hasn't fallen on him.
Read the report. He's almost as complicit as McDonough. Granted the "I can't remember" stories are ludicrous.
Is sexual assault so normal there that all the instances blend together? "Oh was it that one? I get them all so confused!" It seems like something that would bloody well stick with you.

Muzzin looks like Joe Thornton out there so far this season. 🤦🏻♂️
Really hoping he's working through an injury or something, if he's just dropped off a cliff were (frank)ed. Most important guy on our blue line along with Brodie in my opinion.

I think other teams have been keying in on Muzzin more this year, he seems to be taking a beating more, guys running him all the time.
Looked up hits taken compared to last year and they’re up almost 50%.
All the coaches were listening when Toffoli said they knew they were going to win when Muzzin went down.

If that's the case then the Leafs need a lot more help, that's a much larger issue... Our best defenseman getting targeted should be upsetting to the rest of the Leafs roster..

I’ve noticed it during the games, I doubt the big guys have. Too busy counting their money and texting back and forth with Bieber.
