Should have never even been a shot.

The goal is primarily due to Sandin’s (frank) up

- Dozzer

I think if that blatant interference in front of Campbell was called neither of the first 2 goals would have been scored.

Great play by Lorentz though.

There was no interference on that goal. A weak shot was taken because Sandin (frank)ed up, nothing more.

The stars aren’t playing up to par, better blame Ritchie and Dermott
- Dozzer

Well that's just the thing. The top guys are paid the big bucks because they're relied on to do a job, and they're not doing anything close to it. The bottom guys are paid bottom dollars because they're expected to make mistakes.

If the journeyman (frank)s something up to the point it's catastrophic you don't hold the apprentice and labourers accountable for it. 🤦🏻‍♂️

He’s.
On.
The.
Bottom.
Pairing.

If he was top 4 those mistakes would be far more obvious and routine.

- Dozzer

He is making no more mistakes than any other NHL 5-6 D man. In fact I'd argue he is making far less mistakes than the average 5-6 d man.

Thank you.

People typically lay all the blame on the lower paid players and the one star they hate.

All the other guys get passes.

The posts on this site are so blatantly obvious it can be nauseous

It was before the first goal, in front of Campbell. That gets called Carolina doesn't score 2 quick ones.

If you could trade top to bottom rosters and prospects with the red wings right now, would you do it?

That’s because you argue with essentially everything.

A lot of pucks get by him and he makes a lot of intercepted are blocked passes.

Just watch for that and you’ll see

poop play by all of them.

Dermott trying to force it through.

Sandin sucking at his coverage and out muscled and a whole bunch of other rookie issues....could've just kicked the puck away.

Campbell misread the play, thinking Sandin has his man he didn't get completely in position for the shot. Weak sauce goal.

ALL OF THEM sucked on that play.

To Dozzer's point, Sandin is a rookie and makes rookie mistakes. Is there a glimpse of talent sure but he's been beat A LOT in the playoff round and the first games of this season. He has work to do. He doesn't suck but he's no Hedman FFS.

Leafs win 5-1

Engvall with 1 assist and all you (frank)ers will once again love him.

It is the way…..

Hopefully the lines remain the same so they can try and get some chemistry.

Except I’d bump Kampf to line 4 and run

PE Spezz Kase
Ritchie Kampf Offside

I’m not saying I don’t like him, or that I don’t believe he’ll be eventually at least a top 4 guy. All I’m saying is that he’s essentially a rookie and he makes rookie mistakes

Apparently that makes me a hating ass

The bias on this site is mind blowing some days

For me, it wasn't just Sandin at fault on the 2nd goal and you are pinning that goal strictly all on him.

anyways will have more to complain about later tonight I'm sure of it.

Yes well I expected Toronto to go back to their insane scoring ways so I figured he'd give me a few points just by passing it to Matthews from time to time.

I think we all thought (wished) that was going to happen.
