Ed tried to oust Masai over the summer as well. Said he wasnt worth keeping around.
Im going to assume it will not bode well for the Jays as competing teams for FA's could point out the unknown certainty of the executives and ownership for the team.

True fact: Jimi Hendrix opened seven times for the Monkees during their 1967. “Ok kids, settle down. Here we go with Daydream Believer.”

And Sting opened for Krusty in 1969.

I think as long as the Jays budget is set this month then it's business as usual.

Lots of crazy sports drama right now. This Blackhawks thing could get nuts. Bowman gone, rightly. Do Quenneville and Chevaldayov need to own their silence and step away?

Kind of lost in the Maple Leafs struggles early on is the growth of Sandin and Dermott. When on the ice together at 5v5, the Leafs have a 63% share of shot attempts and 73% share of expected goals.

watches sandin get out worked and scored on....cool cool

I remember a while back, I was in Ireland backpacking through the country.

What I didn't know, at the same time I was traveling from town to town, it was the darts world championship.

Every single local bar we went to was packed with people going batpoop crazy about darts.

It was awesome.

OOONNNNNNEEEE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY!!!!!!!!

- Scabeh

I really, really, really want to go to a darts championship.

The crowd looks absolutely bonkers.

And hell yes, I would wear a costume.

Time to publicly shame the Blackhawks players who exhibited disgusting behaviour.

It’s my opinion that you should feel shame, lots of shame.

It was a weak shot but to be fair it shouldn’t had happened at all. Snuck by Campbell but only because Sandin screwed up. He’s a rookie and shows it clearly from time to time. What I expected. And why I’m against Liljegren and him being a pairing.

Yup. Keefe wants him to shoot more....it really has F'd up his mojo. Oh and Malholtra completely ruined the PP.
- Fakepartofme

Yup he did. On the other hand, when you are icing like 30M of players on the PP and they give up more shorthanded goals than they score, over a lengthy period of time, it becomes pretty clear that hard work isn't part of the equation in Toronto.

God, we all know sports culture was poop "back in the day" but (frank) it's like it just keeps happening.

As I said it was a 1 on 1 so the goal itself is on Sandin and Campbell

How? Sandin never really had proper positioning... It's not like Lorentz made Sandin look silly. Lorentz is 6'4 and 210lbs..

Sandin is 5'11 and 188lbs..

Blame Sandin because he's not 6'4?

It was a bad play by Dermott which forced Sandin to battle against a bigger forward

Except it wasn't a traditional one on one..

Dermott made a bad play, Sandin was out of position and had to battle a bigger forward..

Sometimes it's ok to blame guys that have been in the league longer and not blame the rookies

For not working on his skating more often.

33% to each of Dermott, Sandin and Soupy?
