Even though I won’t insist any longer I still believe Matthews won’t stick around. Especially if the leafs start rebuilding even in a minor way.

He also has openly admitted his fav team is the coyotes. I still won’t be shocked if he heads back home to play for them after his contract is up if the leafs don’t try to move him beforehand.
