Ed tried to oust Masai over the summer as well. Said he wasnt worth keeping around.
Im going to assume it will not bode well for the Jays as competing teams for FA's could point out the unknown certainty of the executives and ownership for the team. - Fakepartofme
Leafs and Jays, can never have something good happen..great to be a fan

I think as long as the Jays budget is set this month then it's business as usual.
Lots of crazy sports drama right now. This Blackhawks thing could get nuts. Bowman gone, rightly. Do Quenneville and Chevaldayov need to own their silence and step away?

Kind of lost in the Maple Leafs struggles early on is the growth of Sandin and Dermott. When on the ice together at 5v5, the Leafs have a 63% share of shot attempts and 73% share of expected goals.
watches sandin get out worked and scored on....cool cool

Time to publicly shame the Blackhawks players who exhibited disgusting behaviour.

Ya, the lazar that , ? got off, went by Campbell so fast.... What a rocket. - bixll
It was a weak shot but to be fair it shouldn’t had happened at all. Snuck by Campbell but only because Sandin screwed up. He’s a rookie and shows it clearly from time to time. What I expected. And why I’m against Liljegren and him being a pairing.

Yup. Keefe wants him to shoot more....it really has F'd up his mojo. Oh and Malholtra completely ruined the PP. - Fakepartofme
Yup he did. On the other hand, when you are icing like 30M of players on the PP and they give up more shorthanded goals than they score, over a lengthy period of time, it becomes pretty clear that hard work isn't part of the equation in Toronto.
