Elvis Merzlikins should be part of this conversation, in fact he is better than both of them. Especially with the team he plays on, one that does not have nearly as much talent or experience as the other two, he has done great work this season.

Vasilevskiy has dominated the best league in the world for like 5 years and is comparable age.

Sorkin is almost exactly 1 year younger than Vasilevskiy. So kinds strange to talk about him being the best young goalie compared to Vasilevskiy's resume. Gibson and Hellebuyck are just 2 years older than Sorkin. Does that still qualify as young, or not anymore? Saros is 26 like Sorkin. Blackwood is 24 and younger than all of them.

Ilya Sorokin and Igor Shestekin have played in the KHL together between 2013-2018. Sorokin has been the better goalie statistically in the KHL throughout that period. Sorokin has also played on the superior team the CSKA Moscow mostly during that period.
Sorokin has played in 199 regular season games to Shestekin 117 Regular season games. Across 6 seasons Sorokin has an average Save% of 0.933 and a GAA of 1.77 during the regular season. Shestekin has an average Save% of 0.926% and a GAA of 2.03 during the Regular Season.
In the playoffs Sorokin has played in 65 playoff games while Shestekin has played in 16 games. Across 4 playoff season Sorokin has an average Save % of 0.935% while Shestekin has an average Save % of 0.948% across 3 playoff seasons, but Shestekin only played in one playoff game in the 2017-2018 season and posted a perfect 1.000%. If we treat the 2017-2018 playoff season as an outlier, than Shestekin average Playoff Save % drops to 0.922%.
In conclusion statistically Sorokin in a better KHL goalie and more experienced goalie than Shestekin
