Anyone related to that incident, in senior management or a coaching capacity that did nothing.

Should be fired. Embarrassment to the game, and disgusting human behaviour.

Living in the Toronto area. I can tell you guys the pressure on the leafs right now is insane. If this start goes 15-25 games I think they don’t make the playoffs. The questions being asked of these guys would normally be asked of a flyer team 25 games in. Even questioning if Tavares should be captain. Imo Tavares is the only guy who has gone through hard times. The money they gave marner Matthews Tavares and Nylander is a killer

Can’t see how anyone would have an issue with the Nylander or Matthews contract. Tavares and Marner are a different story

Rubstov, Bunnaman, Cates, and Ratcliffe a total combined 0 points in 4 games. Add in Frost and you get a whopping 1 assist.

Anyone else already having nightmares about Risto being on the ice at the same time as McDavid? I don't think that's gonna end well unless he finds a way to plaster him into the boards illegally!! What's Elliot's save pct. this year?

It's the same for any player that is on the ice against McDavid. He is at another level. Flyers don't have a single defenseman that can skate with him on a rush. There probably isn't a defenseman in the league who can.

Matthews maybe but nylander is overpaid. Remember, these guys disappear in the playoffs when things get rough. It’s not like you’re paying them for past strong playoff performance. They probably should have traded nylander when they had the contract Dispute. Could have gotten a good haul and spent on dmen

Nylander has been good and at least has a chance to outperform that contract. There is no way Marner can outperform his contract.

Does anyone think Sandheim has been good this year. I hear a lot of RR talk, but to me Travis has been just as bad.

Sanheim is just there. He has been up and down. Need a lot more from him going forward. He is a trade candidate based on his contract imo.

I think Sanheim has been more good than bad but can play much better. RR has been awful, just came back tho let’s give him a few games

LOL. It was never reported that he needed surgery. That was simply speculation before he was examined by specialists. You were given facts. You chose to ignore them repeatedly. There was never any information that even remotely suggested that Allison was out for the season. You are the only one who was stating that. Here you are getting personal again with the piece of work comment and wishing I was the same way.

- MJL

I know I was the only one saying that! I said as much and laughed at it in fact! Again, I have no idea if the statement in the article is correct, that is why I asked Bill if he has heard anything about it. If true and Allison does come back, I will be as happy as anyone! But you just can't resist slamming me or anyone in cases like this, hence my "piece of work" comment.

I don't agree about RR, he has not been awful. He has played OK, not great. Sanheim IMO has played about the same as RR, some good, some bad. The thing about Sanheim is he is not a good defender, we know that. His value is the offense he generates off the rush. So far I have not seen that from him this season.

Ellis out tonight, Braun in top pairing ... against MacDavid! How do you think this is going to work out?

So what does it say to you that you are the only one saying it? That's not hard to figure out. I doesn't matter if the statement in the article is correct. What matters is that there is no information which suggests that he will be out for the season. Your repeated insistence on some idea that he may require surgery, while completely ignoring that he did not need surgery, is the issue here. Not matter how many times it has been pointed out to you that he did not need surgery. As if "he might need surgery" is valid.

Sanheim has not been great and he can play better but he has played better than Ristolainen. I disagree that Sanheim is not a good defender. I'm not sure who "we" is. He'll never be considered a shut down defender but he can hold his own. It's only been two games but what I've seen from Ristolainen but it is not encouraging. It's been scary actually that this is the player they gave up a 1st and a 2nd for.

I think the Flyers schedule along with injuries have hurt the Flyers defense slightly, in terms of getting comfortable. So far the team is seeing long stretches without game action and now they’re in a different time zone. This can’t be easy.

I guess we will have to watch the game to find out. I hope there are three other players on the ice to help them out. It would suck if they have to play 5 on 2 all night against him.
